The Nike ONE Platinum golf ball was used by Tiger Woods when he won the 2007 Target World Challenge, which was hosted at the Sherwood Country Club. This is the first time in any competition that golf’s number one professional used the Nike ONE Platinum.
According to Press Release sources, Nike has improved the ONE Platinum, which will be available this February, in addition to the ONE Black. Each ball offers advanced power transfer technology. More power and increased ball speed is the result of thick polymer nestled inside the ball’s mantle layer.
Tiger Woods said that what he likes about it is that ”you do hit the ball further but you don’t give up the workability of the golf ball. You can still curve it. You can still change trajectories just as easy as before. The only difference is that now you’re hitting it further, which is the beauty of it.
